Show-systems architect and technical director. Fifteen years composing physical experiences — 250+ productions delivered, permanent installations running on schedule every night since 2023. My discipline is the one this role names: making many systems behave as one.
That sentence from your brief is the job description I have been writing for myself for fifteen years. Every project I deliver — a theatre, a beach club, an AI-driven residence — is a set of scenic, media, audio, lighting, effects and interactive systems that must behave as a single synchronised instrument, night after night, with no second chance at the opening.
I am a practitioner, not a paper engineer. I have personally rigged, networked, calibrated, programmed and operated the systems I sign off — and then stayed to run them for years. That is the authority I would bring to eighteen galleries: the executability judgement of someone who has to live with the answer.
Current practice: technical direction on permanent multimedia installations on Bali — across Nuanu Creative City, the Villa Ailla flagship residence (launching October 2026), and Zenergy — a wellness destination in build through 2028.
A private residence where every projector, screen and sensor is concealed in the architecture. Five distinct experiences — holographic windows, infinity mirror, art-glass bath, ambient layer, invisible interface — driven by one custom TouchDesigner backend (SoloSys) bridging the resident's web UI to every subsystem.

The permanent lighting system and projection for Nuanu's bamboo theatre — specified, sourced and integrated in-house, with custom truss fabricated in a bamboo-toned finish so the rig vanishes into the architecture. Installed three years ago; running day-to-day ever since, carrying the room from intimate stage plays to full multimedia spectacle without a re-rig.
A 12-metre wireframe sculpture as a venue's centre of gravity. We designed the permanent rig — two laser towers, fixtures embedded in the sculpture, CO₂ jets and flame effects, a DJ booth built into her base — and have operated the nightly cycle since 2023, in salt air, for thousands of guests. Visiting artists inherit a system that already knows the room.
The main pedestrian entrance to Nuanu Creative City: a contemporary reading of the Balinese Paduraksa gate, carrying snake and dragon reliefs, a central shell that cycles through golden, white and earthen states, and a living arch of vegetation above. Lit as a permanent nightly piece — outdoors, unattended, the piece every visitor meets before anything else.
A dark stretch of Nuanu landscape turned into an evening ritual. Light responds to time, walker rhythm and proximity; ground-mounted fixtures disappear into planting by day, and after dusk a warm-to-cool gradient pulls visitors deeper along the route, with twisted metal arches framing the intervals. Every fixture sits in sea air and rain — maintenance was a first-class design constraint, not an afterthought.
The festival's main stage, taken from concept to built set to live canvas. Sculptural scenery fabricated as projection geometry from day one — then mapped edge-to-edge by a 12-projector Panasonic system, with K-Array audio and content composed per act, running live behind the bands night after night. Scenic, media and lighting executed as one build, not three trades.

Projection mapping of Daniel Popper's monumental sculpture for Reno's first light-art festival. The night before opening, an unforecast snowstorm turned the calibrated white fiberglass into a snow surface. The entire palette and pattern density were re-tuned overnight to read on snow. Three nights, zero missed openings — and a collaboration that has continued since.

Technical direction of the Bipolar Express camp: two mobile train art cars carrying a heavyweight Funktion-One system and lasers, plus Singularity Tree — our camp's own build, and the stage Monolink played.
Nothing stays parked. Every night the trains roll out and dock — with the Tree, with Mayan Warrior, Maxa, Titanic's End. Each link-up is a live integration between two independent crews with nothing underneath: power, audio and show control matched on the spot, in dust, in front of a crowd already there.

A residence where light, sound, climate and an ambient AI layer run as one composition. On the engineering side: a 181-device network, iPad operator layer with scene logic, and a full technical audit — four independent source documents reconciled into a single verified knowledge base, then checked port-by-port against the physical rack before hand-over. Launching October 2026.
I won't guess your galleries' architecture before seeing the Stage B material. What I can draw now is the collaboration model I bring: I hold the technical line inside a five-role core team, while every vendor relationship stays behind the producer. Proposals, substitutions and RFIs come in through that one door, are dissected by the core team together, and leave as a single technical decision. This keeps the sign-off authority clean — the person judging executability has no commercial stake in any vendor's answer.
A show system is proven when the venue's own staff can run it — start it, stop it, restart it — without calling an engineer.
Z Games Ukraine — creative & sports director of a national action-sports festival: stages, structures, broadcast, show flow. Bukovel resort — snow park builder. Professional athlete. Where I learned that a show is a system with a deadline.
Suka Rental — production partner for immersive events across Bali: 250+ productions in four years. Projection, sound, lighting, staging — specified, delivered, struck, repeatedly. The volume that turns judgement into instinct.
Permanent systems practice: Cyber Zen (2022), LUNA / Suara (2023), ASH Theatre, Aurora Park, Nuanu Gates (2024), Western Lights Reno (2025), Villa Ailla (2026), Zenergy (2028). In curatorial conversation with the work of Moment Factory, teamLab and Refik Anadol — built with a rental-era respect for load-in day.
